During the National Day holiday in 2024, Guangzhou plans to launch over 2,000 cultural and tourism activities. These will include artistic performances, cultural exhibitions, folk stage shows, intangible cultural heritage activities, public cultural events, and discounts for attractions and hotels, with an aim to enhance the cultural tourism product offerings and promote the expansion and improvement of cultural tourism consumption, warmly welcoming visitors from all directions.

According to data from Ctrip, as of September 21st, the number of flight bookings to Guangzhou during the National Day period has increased by 13% year-on-year, hotel bookings have risen by 9%, and village tourism bookings have surged by 38%. Forecasts from Fliggy indicate that Guangzhou ranks among the top five popular domestic destinations for the National Day holiday.

To provide citizens and tourists with a rich holiday experience, various attractions in Guangzhou have made meticulous preparations, launching a variety of themed activities.

The Chimelong Tourist Resort will host events such as "Exploring World Wonders, Celebrating Chinese Pride" and the "Yue Fashion Electronic Music Festival", where visitors can spend their holiday with a diverse array of global rare animals in the park. Guangzhou Sunac Land will unveil a National Trend Carnival, offering visitors the chance to enjoy Shaolin martial arts, listen to classic Chinese songs, and watch a special National Day version of the "Great Lake Show".

The "Second Guangdong Traditional Chinese Culture and Arts Festival" will be held in the Mingchun Valley in Baiyun Mountain, allowing tourists to immerse themselves in a millennium of tradition and cultural heritages. While the Guangzhou Ocean World has planned a series of National Day carnival activities, including interactive activities like magic and acrobatics, fantastical bubble shows, joyful puzzles, and artistic painting, with opportunities for citizens to participate in a ticket lottery.

Meanwhile, the Fang Farm Urban Farm in Haizhu District is planned to present the "Colorful Summer Night Intangible Cultural Heritage and Folk Shadow Show", featuring a dazzling light sea, the millennium-old Datiehua (Iron Fireworks) and Huohu (firepots) performances, a water curtain movie, and more, to create a rich cultural atmosphere. Besides, the market fair at the Maofengshan Forest Park , the National Day Poetry Recital at Yuexiu Park, and martial arts flash mobs, traditional-styled performances and immersive garden parties at the Yuyin Shanfang (Ancient Garden) will also offer residents and tourists a variety of choices.

Additionally, numerous outstanding performances will be staged in Guangzhou during the National Day holiday, providing citizens and tourists with a stunning artistic feast. On the morning of October 1st, a cultural tourism flash mop event titled "My Country and I: Red Ode" will be held at the top of the Canton Tower, celebrating National Day with visitors. The Bai'e Tan Art Center, Xinghai Concert Hall , and other venues will host special performances of Cantonese music, symphonic concerts of the "Four Great Classic Novels," concerts of selections from famous movie soundtracks, and the night of concerto music with the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, to enhance the holiday atmosphere with rich artistic experiences.

Throughout the holiday, Guangzhou will also feature small-scale theatrical performances, live houses, intimate concerts, stand-up comedies and various performances, offering citizens and tourists a diverse "small yet beautiful" artistic experience.

广州将办2000余场文旅活动献礼75周年国庆

2024年国庆假期，广州市策划推出两千余场文旅活动，涵盖文艺演出、文博展览、百姓舞台、非遗活动、公共文化活动、景区酒店优惠等假期出行全场景，丰富文化旅游产品供给，促进文化旅游消费扩容提质，广迎八方来客。

根据携程数据，截至9月21日，国庆期间广州的机票订单量同比增长13%，酒店订单量同比增长9%，乡村游订单量同比增长38%。飞猪国庆出游预测显示，广州入围国庆假期国内热门目的地前五。

为了给广大市民游客带来丰富的假期体验，广州市各景区进行了周密的准备，纷纷推出各式主题特色活动。

广州长隆度假区将举办“探世界奇迹，看中国骄傲”“粤潮电音节”等活动，全球珍稀动物大家族陪同游客朋友花式过节，玩转园区。广州融创乐园将推出国潮嘉年华，市民游客可欣赏少林绝技、聆听国风红歌，观看国庆版的“大湖秀”演出。

白云山鸣春谷将举办“第二届广东中华优秀传统文化艺术节”活动，游客可以在活动中品味千年的传统与文化底蕴。广州海洋馆策划了国庆嘉年华系列活动，将有魔术杂技、奇幻泡泡秀、欢乐拼图和艺术彩绘等精彩互动活动，市民还可参与门票抽奖。

位于海珠区的一方乐田都市农园策划了“缤纷夏夜非遗民俗光影秀”活动，梦幻灯海、千年非遗打铁花、千年非遗火壶、水幕电影等，营造浓厚的文化氛围。帽峰山森林公园的集市游园活动，越秀公园的越秀国庆诗会，余荫山房的武术快闪、古风表演、沉浸式游园会等活动，也为市民游客提供了丰富选择。

此外，国庆假期，众多优秀剧目将在广州精彩上演，为市民游客呈现一场精彩纷呈的艺术盛宴。10月1日上午，广州塔塔顶将举办“我和我的祖国·红色颂歌”文旅快闪活动，与景区游客欢度国庆。白鹅潭艺术中心、星海音乐厅等剧场推出广东音乐曲艺专场、“四大名著”交响演唱会、精选电影名曲2024音乐会、广州交响乐团音乐协奏曲之夜等演出，为市民观众的节日生活增添浓郁的艺术氛围。

节日期间，广州还有众多小剧场、livehouse以及小型音乐会、脱口秀等演出活动，为市民游客带来“小而美”的多样化艺术体验。
