首都博物馆重磅大展“玉米·黄金·美洲豹——玛雅与安第斯古代文明大展”开展。

展览分为“玛雅的世界”“王的宝藏”“ 大自然的精灵”三部分，汇聚墨西哥、秘鲁20余家文博机构约800件珍贵文物，以“玉米”（生命起源）、“黄金”（神圣象征）、“美洲豹”（三界使者）三大文化符号为线索，在一万平方米展陈空间中，勾勒出一幅横跨约三千年的古代美洲文明图景。其展品数量、合作单位规模均创首博历史之最。

“玛雅的世界”聚焦玛雅人心目中的宇宙构成和玛雅城邦的人文地理景观。展厅后部设置了一座镂空的玛雅金字塔，将展览空间与玛雅的神圣空间要素紧密结合。玉米在玛雅文明中居于核心地位，展览中可以看到玉米神从下界复活、神用玉米面创造人类等传说，以及有关玉米生产加工的相关文物。展柜中的陶盘刻画了《波波尔·乌》传说：玉米神被困下界，他的英雄双子用计营救父亲，让玉米神从大地裂缝中重生。

“王的宝藏”首次全面展示秘鲁西潘王陵遗址考古成果，深度揭秘莫切贵族葬俗与高超的金属工艺，其中80%文物首次来华。“大自然的精灵”所有展品均为首次来华。
